How we make it
Made slowly, by six people
Every Nordhaus piece is cut, joined and finished in one workshop by the same small team. We use solid European oak and Baltic birch, traditional joints instead of metal brackets, and hard-wax oils instead of lacquer, so a scratch can be sanded out rather than living with you forever.
