A small studio on Half Moon Bay. Unhurried classes, teachers who explain things, and a first class that costs nothing.
In for four, out for six. Try it with us.
Every class is capped at eighteen people, so the teacher can see you.
Linked movement with long exhales. Steady and warm, never rushed.
A brisk, strong flow to wake the body before the day starts.
Bolsters, blankets and seventy-five minutes with nothing to do.
Long, quiet holds for hips and back, in dim light.
Pose names, how to breathe in them, and not one handstand.
Supported movement and breathing practice for every trimester.
Times are local. Book online, or just show up if there are spots.
Four teachers, each with their own style. All of them will learn your name.
Founder, lead teacher
Maya opened Slow Tide after ten years of teaching in loud, crowded studios. She wanted a room where nobody is hurried, including her.
Restorative and yin
A former physical therapist, Daniel teaches slow classes with careful cues for stiff backs, tight hips and desk-bound shoulders.
Beginners and prenatal
Priya explains every pose in plain words and offers three ways into each one. Many of our members took their first class with her.
Sunrise vinyasa
Lena runs our early classes: strong, well-sequenced and finished in time for you to get to work, with music that stays out of the way.
No joining fee and no contract. Your first class is free with any option.

Yes. Choose Beginner Basics, or tell us in the form and we'll point you to the right class. Every teacher offers a gentler option for each pose.
Usually, with some changes. Tell the teacher before class starts, or note it in the form, and we'll suggest a class and adjust the poses.
Cancel up to four hours before class and your credit comes back. Later than that, the class counts as used.
