La nostra storia

A kitchen table that grew a dining room.

Rosa Bellini opened Casa Nonna with six tables, a pasta machine she carried from Bologna, and a rule: nobody eats alone. Fifty years later her grandchildren run the pass, the sauce simmers from nine every Sunday morning, and the six tables have become thirty.

We still make every shape in the front window, still cure our own pancetta, and still keep one chair empty at the long table for whoever walks in next.

— Famiglia Bellini

Parlano di noi

Kind words from the table

★★★★★
“The tagliatelle tastes exactly like my grandmother's — and I have been looking for that for thirty years.”
Marco R., regular since 2009
★★★★★
“Sunday lunch here is a full afternoon. Nobody rushes you, and somebody's nonna will definitely feed you more.”
Elena & Tom, Park Slope
★★★★★
“Best margherita in Brooklyn. The crust has that blistered char that only a real wood oven gives.”
